Papiya Banerjee is the founder member of the Avyudaya Centre for Transformation. She is the creator of the annual Avyudaya Festival of Learning, which brings together different methods of learning, teaching and inquiry taught by some of India's finest gurus, philosophers and teachers.

Papiya is also responsible for the Relume activity in India and is based in Pune and Mumbai.

Prior to joining Relume, Papiya had eleven years experience of leadership positions in global organisations. Her last assignment was as an HR Director for Organisational Transformation at Aviva Asia Pacific, Singapore. Before this she worked in India for Aviva Global Services, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company and HCL Technologies.

Papiya has in depth experience of successfully managing the cultural transitions and systems integrations that result from corporate mergers and acquisitions. Her deep understanding of business strategy allows her to design solutions that contribute to the organisational bottom line.

Papiya is passionate about individual transformation as a form of leadership development. She has done intensive personal research in the area of authentic and integral leadership and created a range of interventions from this work.

Papiya’s training and personal development has taken her to various parts of the world to learn from the masters –Eugene Gendelin: Focusing [USA], Dr. Don Beck : Spiral Dynamics [USA], Kenwyn Smith: Conflict Resolution [CEDEP, France]; Authentic Leadership in Action [Canada]; Professional Development [Indian Society of Applied Behavioural Science, India] etc.

Papiya loves exploring the world, watching movies and chatting with friends and family. She is passionate about Indian social transformation projects that impact grass root level change and is associated with NGOs.

Sangeeta Bhagwat facilitates Inner Work and Transformation in groups and individuals, playing the role of a Facilitator, Holistic Healer, Life Coach or Author, as per the need of the moment.

She has been facilitating workshops to empower people to de-stress, overcome limiting beliefs, heal emotional and physical issues, improve relationships, actualize their fullest potential and improve communication and rapport within organizations since late 2004. The groups have ranged from 5 to about 500 in numbers. She has conducted customized programs for multinational corporations’ top management, social organizations and educational institutions, including the top management from Atlas Copco, India, Taj Palace, Mumbai, Hoganas India, etc… She has also conducted workshops for NGOS and social groups such as Bhumi, Madhavi Kapur Foundation, WIN (Pune), Womens Group from New India Assurance, teaching staff of several educational institutions, etc… Monthly open workshops are held at ‘The Urban Ashram’, Pune, since August 2009.

She has been providing one-on-one life coaching and healing for hundreds of people since 2001, using various modalities, tools and processes. Over the years, she has come to specialize in helping community and thought leaders in their personal journeys of growth and success.

Sangeeta has authored four books on healing and self empowerment subjects, including ‘Emotional Freedom Techniques’, published by Wisdom Tree, Delhi.

She has intensely studied and practiced many spiritual, healing and empowering tools and techniques and is equipped to draw upon many processes as per the need of the individual.

Dr Monica Gupta: Monica, a founding member of 'avyudaya' is a Doctorate in Psychology & a certified counselor. She has more than 13 years of experience in coaching and counseling and has helped her clients deal with wide range of professional and personal issues.

She has taught Psychology to Post Graduate students at SNDT & SIMS and worked with several global organizations as OD consultant and behavioral trainer.

Monica has worked extensively in designing and implementing assessment-development centers and leadership programs for organizations across various levels and is also an empanelled assessor with DDI involved in assessing and coaching senior leaders.

Monica is an explorer and researcher of various spiritual practices and meditation techniques. Combining her educational background in western psychology and interest in Eastern spiritual techniques she has designed programs for the evolution of individual consciousness.

Monica is also an independent assessor and coach. She is currently empanelled with DDI.

Dr. Zeb Wataurucha: Dr. Zeb O. Waturuocha has a challenging career with the scope for demonstrating optimism, thriving on imagination and passion, rigorous thinking and creatively designing and delivering meaning making systems to individuals and organisations.

A Doctorate is Management Science and a process-oriented Training & Development specialist, Zeb employs OD and behavioural science-based training interventions to facilitate human and organisational growth and effectiveness. Trained in Experiential Learning Methodology, Future Search, Open Space Technology, Appreciative Inquiry, Diversity and Inclusion; Certified Performance and Competency Developer, Emotional Intelligence, Zeb undertakes small and large-group intervention and facilitation. He is the principal consultant of AUI Consultants (The Human Process People), a training and development outfit for human and organisational growth.

He is the current Dean for Social Development of ISABS. Zeb is one of the leading facilitators of Human Process lab and has conducted more than 100 labs touching 1000 lives.

In his 13 years career he has trained more than 1000 executives, 1800 middle management staff, 2800 junior level staff and 3000 NGO workers. Zeb has been instrumental in spreading the emotional intelligence literacy across schools and colleges in Karnataka and has personally trained more than 130 teachers to help him spread the knowledge.

Aroop K Banerji: Aroop, a founding member of ‘avyudaya’ has worked in the corporate world for more than 15 years. He has been instrumental in introducing the concept for online learning and development solutions to institutes and corporates.

Aroop is passionate about individual change and transformation and their impact on organisational change. His learning journey has taken him through diverse learning areas and methods. He has attended workshops on Focusing, Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional Intelligence, Dream Therapy, Leader as a coach etc.

His core competence lies in connecting with the ground realities of business and working out practical strategies to achieve business goals. His sharp eye for operational details and strength in analysis makes him the backbone of ‘avyudaya.’ He has a habit of constant probing till he gets to the bottom of the issue.
